Key Safety Tips for Metal Burners:
-
NEVER TOUCH DURING USE: Assume all parts are extremely hot once the candle is lit.
-
ALWAYS USE WATER: Never put essential oil directly into the dry bowl. Always add water first (1-2 tablespoons), then add 3-8 drops of essential oil onto the water.
-
MONITOR WATER LEVEL CONSTANTLY: Check every 15-30 minutes and top up with water before it runs dry. This is absolutely crucial.
-
Use on Stable, Heat-Resistant Surfaces: A trivet, tile, or stone countertop is ideal. Avoid wood, plastic, or paper surfaces directly underneath.
-
Keep Away from Flammables & Drafts: Position away from curtains, papers, books, and avoid breezy areas that could blow the flame or cause uneven heating.
-
Never Leave Unattended: Extinguish the candle if you leave the room or go to sleep.
-
Allow to Cool Completely: Before moving, cleaning, or refilling, ensure the entire burner is completely cold to the touch.
-
Keep Out of Reach: Place where children and pets cannot reach it or knock it over.
How do I know when the candle is done burning?
Stop use when 1-2cm of wax remains, or if the wick becomes difficult to light (even after trimming).
Do you test candles for burn safety (e.g., smoke, dripping) before shipping?
Every batch of candles undergoes burn testing (2-hour test for each product) to ensure no excessive smoke, dripping, or wick issues. We provide test reports upon request.
